Want to try out the club?
Here’s what you need to know!
- The Saskatoon Cycling Club is an affiliate of the Saskatchewan Cycling Association, and as such, our members have cycling insurance (subject to the availability of ride leaders and a qualified first aid person) and are able to enjoy unlimited rides with the club.
- The Try-it Ride program (administered by SCA) provides an opportunity for a cycling club to invite participants from the community to join a sanctioned recreational activity that showcases the sport of cycling in order to promote membership. This is the program best suited to regular rides. If you are interested in trying a club ride, please click here which will take you to the CCN website where you can register. If you do register through CCN please also send the SCC an email at clubinfo@saskatooncyclingclub.ca so we are aware. We have scheduled Try-it Ride days for May 24, June 10, June 24 and July 12/2026. A participant can only try two Try-It rides per season.
- The Recreational Day Pass is another program offered by SCA. This program allows a club to offer a non-SCA-member a chance to participate in a sanctioned recreational club activity on a try out basis, with the expectation that they are doing so to see if they are interested in joining the SCA and the club. This is the program best suited to special events such as a one day ride during a weekend tour.
Key Requirements:
– Maximum of ONE (1) Recreational Day Pass per participant per season
– Cost per participant is set annually by SCA (2026 – $20 / participant pays through CCN) - Still have questions? Email the club, and we will try to help.
