2026 tours planned

Champetre County gravel ride 2026 took place on May 30/31, 2026. The Champetre weekend was a huge success. We had about 20 riders each day with fair weather. We pushed a fair bit of wind both days, but when it pushed us, it was glorious. We had great routes led by Chris and Terry, tasty food by Francine and crew, and a sing-a-long led by Dave, Lee and others. We had a number of riders from Wascana Freewheelers (Regina) again this year, which added to the weekend. Champetre really is a premier area for gravel biking and if you haven’t experienced, it is a must.

Waskesiu weekend ride 2026. The Waskesiu weekend is planned for September 12th and 13th. SCA membership required. Rides are an easy pace for around 4 hours, starting from in front of the Trading Post, 9:30am Saturday, 10:30am Sunday. Routes are paved at the start but become interesting gravel or bush trails further on, so wide tires are recommended.

No fee, but a message to let us know you are coming would be nice!. Camping/rooms, meals and park entry paid by participants.

We usually camp in Beaver Glen campground. Terry already has reserved a site in loop N! If it fills up, the park will usually open another loop. We also like to go to a restaurant for supper together Saturday evening. And there is a film festival on that weekend in Waskesiu.
