Helmets
Saskatchewan Cycling Association policy requires every participant of club events to wear a properly fitting helmet.

- You must be a paid-up member of the club or the Saskatchewan Cycling Association to participate in any club cycling event. The SCA insurance policy requires everyone taking part in any club ride to be a member.
- Non-SCA members are not permitted to participate in any SCA sanctioned event. However, there are programs available that will allow non-SCA members to participate in sanctioned events on a trial basis. Please contact the SCC to explore these options.
- Follow the rules of the road. Bicycles are vehicles – and we have the same legal rights and duties as other drivers. You have an obligation to yourself and the group to ride in a safe and courteous manner.
- Have fun! The rules above aren’t meant to crimp your style, but to help keep you safe and get the most out of your trip. It isn’t a race – take time to stop and smell the canola!
Ride Leaders Guide
